Hillsborough

The Hillsborough Disaster occurred on 15 April 1989 at the FA Cup semi-final match between Liverpool and Nottingham Forest at Hillsborough Stadium, Sheffield, England.

A date that should be close to every Liverpool fans heart as the crush resulted in the deaths of 96 fellow reds and over 700 other reds injured plus countless others impacted by the disaster.

We urge every Liverpool fan to learn the history of the Hillsborough Disaster as being a part of this amazing Liverpool FC family, along with the Heysel Disaster, we must never forget.

The Inquests into the 96 deaths are still ongoing and the latest information can be found here.

The Hillsborough Family Support Group (HFSG) along with the Hillsborough Justice Campaign (HJC) have fought the battle for Justice for over 25 years.

Last year at LFCSeattle we held a fundraising event to help support the fight and donated over $700 from our "Poker Pub Crawl Event". We gave away some great prizes including a Cash First Prize!  This year we have a repeat event and it is fitting that we will hold the event on 19th April, which will be another FA Cup semi-final day for us Liverpool fans, when we take on Aston Villa at Wembley.

So please come down and join us !
